The Arts at St Barnabas’ is an annual arts series that expands cultural offerings for our parish but also for the community at large while serving as “soft evangelism.”
This year’s events for 2020 are:
- Grycky/Taggart Duo, Sunday, February 16, 4 PM. Flutist Eileen Grycky and classical guitarist Christian Taggart make up the Grycky-Taggart Duo, in residence at the University of Delaware where Ms. Grycky and Mr. Taggart are members of the music faculty. The Duo has performed in concert series throughout the U.S. and abroad.
- “Lenten Sketches” Ecumenical Concert, Sunday, March 29, 4 PM
Concert of music for the Season of Lent featuring The Lenten Sketches by Joseph Martin
- American Choral Directors Association – Music & Worship Festival Concert, Saturday, May 2, 7 PM An inspirational program of readings and music sung by the festival choir.
All events take place in the St. Barnabas’ main sanctuary, and are free charge and open to the public. A reception with the artists follows the event.
